I have been designing and making jewellery for more than 30 years, having completed a diploma course at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London. During this time, I have had many commissions to make a wide variety of pieces ranging from wedding and engagement rings to non-jewellery items. The most unusual pieces I have made have included a half-size replica of a stethoscope, commissioned by the College of General Practitioners, to be presented to HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. I think the most unusual piece of all was a silver feed tap, which was commissioned as a present for a pig farmer! I lived and worked in North Wales for a number of years, and ran a small shop in Caernarfon specialising in hand made modern jewellery. I now have my workshop on a farm in the west of England, and a shop in Weston-Super-Mare.
