International Diamond and Gold has marked a new generation in their business. We are now operating as PATÓRA Fine Jewelers. With over 100 years of combined experience in the jewelry business, PATÓRA has evolved from one location to two since its opening in 1990. After the passing of one of its original founders, Julio Campins in 2001, the remaining partner, Pam Hickman, decided to continue the business and maintain the store’s quality, image and atmosphere. In 2003, Tony Freije joined forces with Pam. Pam and Tony then took an important link in the company’s original roots and brought on Ramiro Campins, Julio’s brother and decided to take the store to the next level. The name “PATÓRA” represents the first two letters of each owner’s name: PA for Pam, TO for Tony, and RA for Ramiro. The new name gave identity to the new owners. Pam, Tony and Ramiro did not stop with the new name. PATÓRA opened their second store in the fall of 2004 at 86th and Zionsville Rd. in the Village of Traders Point and in 2005 brought on another addition, Anthony Acosta, Ramiros cousin and godchild, to make sure PATÓRA remains true to their family roots well into the future.
